Forage inoculants enhance fermentation of the harvested crop, such as alfalfa, small grains, grass, corn, sorghum, high moisture corn. They contain specific strains of bacteria to lower the pH of the silage. This creates an acidic environment that inhibits the growth of organisms that can spoil the silage like yeast and mold.
